Conference: "Augmented" Journalism

A few days to the conference and the award ceremony of the finalists of the hackathon

There are a few days left before the conference organized by ANSA about Artificial Intelligence and Journalism, of which GMDE is the promoter.
The conference, which will be taken on 22 October at the Talent Garden in Via Ostiense in Rome, can be followed by streaming both on ANSA’s website and on its Facebook page.

Work will begin at 10:00, then we will discuss immediately how and when Artificial Intelligence meets journalism and then we will talk about when this new technology is applied to the editing work.

Without forgetting more "thorny" themes such as new business models, ethics and the fight against fake news.

Hackathon: the finalists

The hackathon ended on 13 October. Three finalists will be awarded at the end of the conference. The projects that have been chosen by the jury are:
- "Hi ANSA", the upgrade of the ANSA app that consists of a subscription service that provides reliable and themed news through personalized channels.
- "Nova", a digital platform that puts artificial intelligence at the service of journalism. It does so by enriching primary sources with authoritative, contextual and in-depth secondary data.
- "Aiuto da ANSA", offers a Vocal Assistant and Open graph system to provide quick, simple and verified information thanks to conceptual maps generated with artificial intelligence to fight fake news.
