The 2019 edition continues to grow!
"Berlin Publishing Days" to enrich the 2019 edition of IFRA&DCX
For the 2019 edition, the international exhibition dedicated to Publishing, divided into two large areas since the 2017 edition, will become part of four days of events called
Berlin Publishing Days. Visitors will be able to participate in an opening conference for Monday 7 October, followed by two days of exhibition at the Messe Berlin in Berlin to conclude this immersion in publishing with an evening event and organized visits to publishers and start-ups of the city.
Already last year,
IFRA World Publishing Expo and the DCX Digital Content Expo had been praised by the participants for their international orientation and opportunities to share opinions and experiences with experts in the field. The fair, therefore, remains a fixed appointment in the publishing sector, an appointment that continues to grow thanks to innovative impulses that come directly from the market.
As also demonstrated by the 2018 report, drawn up at the end of the last edition, the numbers are growing both on the participation side and for the returns at the level of brand awareness of exhibitors.

A new approach
"From many meetings that we have held we have received a clear and strong signal from visitors and exhibitors: the publishing industry sees IFRA as a platform for the exchange of opinions and experiences rather than a real exhibition and therefore requires a highly interactive event," said Alexander Petsch, CEO of the Publishing Exhibition. "The young companies and start-ups present at the exhibition expect that their presence will allow them to optimize the time to quickly generate new contacts. At the same time, international visitors appreciate the exchanges of ideas with other media producers that allow them to have useful insights to improve their activities".
Thanks to this year?s proposals, Participants will be able to select the events they want and then compile a customized agenda to meet their every need and make the visit even more profitable in terms of knowledge and experience.
Opening Conference of the World Printing Forum
The
Berlin Publishing Days will kick off with the World Printing Forum conference. The conference will be hosted by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung: in its headquarters located in central Berlin, The participants will start the program that will continue the second and third day on the dedicated areas at Messe Berlin. Not to be forgotten also the evening dedicated to the "Print Innovation Awards".
Berlin Publishing Tours
The last day of this full-immersion in publishing will be reserved for visits by professionals in the sector at the headquarters of publishing groups, start-ups and press centres.
"The
Berlin Publishing Days with the IFRA & DCX exhibitions are a comprehensive general event where visitors can experience first hand what publishing means today," says
Alexander Petsch.
